In the intestines of humans and animals, inhabited by hundreds of gut microbes play an important role in the digestive process. Microbes can also drive the appetite and this may be the reason why you often feel hungry.

"Intestinal microbes may respond to nutrients from the food you eat very well and is characterized by the production of hormones that balance," said Vic Norris, researchers from the University of Rouen, France.

Intestinal microbes are thought to interact with the mammalian nervous system, called the enteric nervous system, to stimulate the digestive tract. The system consists of enteric neurons and a half billion, compared with 85 billion neurons found in the central nervous system.

This is what causes the gut microbes associated with cancer, metabolic syndrome, and thyroid disease. The imbalance of gut microbes may even affect the mood disorder due to the behavior of dopamine and peptide hormones involved in appetite.

"Intestinal bacteria, Campilobacter jejuni known to be involved in the induction of anxiety in mice resistant which makes it hunger," added Norris.

If someone is easy to feel hungry despite just ate, may be impaired balance of microbes in the gut or the food you eat does not contain enough nutrients necessary for the microbes interact with the enteric nervous system.

Therefore, you need to keep your digestive system healthy by eating nutritious food and keeping the balance of intestinal microbes. Fill the need probiotics are good for the gut and is contained in foods such as yogurt, cheese, kimchi, and other fermented foods.
