Acer Prepare Android Tablet Under 1 Million Rupiahs

Taiwanese hardware manufacturer Acer will launch its rumored Android tablet for around 99 U.S. dollars, or about Rp 960,000 beginning in 2013.

as reported by The Wall Street Journal, this information comes from a source anomim directly related to the project such cheap tablet.

If this news is true, this tablet will be the first competitor tablets without a brand from China that many in the developing countries, one of Indonesia.

Cheap tablet is planned to be named Acer Iconia B1 uses a 7-inch screen with a resolution of 1024x600 pixels. With a screen this size, B1 Iconia tablet will resemble the Amazon Kindle Fire and the Asus Google Nexus 7.

Other specifications, B1 equipped Iconia MediaTek processor dual core 1.2 GHz processor with PowerVR SGX 531 graphics card, 512 MB RAM, 8GB internal storage, microSD slot, GPS, Bluetooth, WiFi, and already uses Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean.

"A few months ago, we have made changes in response to the map project major changes in the tablet market. Launch of Nexus 10 has changed the predictability of price competition," said Acer's speakers.
