Why iOS Applications More Sellers than Android?

About the amount of money that comes in, the application store of Apple's App Store does not match its competitors from the Android camp, Google Play. Last November, a study of the App Annie cited by Wired disclosed that the App Store has a monthly income of 300 percent greater than the Android Market.
In fact, the number of Android users had significantly higher iOS users, with 75 percent market share in the third quarter, according to data from IDC. However, why is the amount of income inequality has not changed?
The answer, according to the application developer, not the other lies in the super-tight quality control that Apple applied against outstanding applications in the App Store. Thanks to Apple's oversight, consumers can get the application awake quality and therefore gladly spend money.
"App Store has the proportion of higher-quality applications as a result of a rigorous approval process," said Zak Tanjeloff of DLP Mobile. "That means developers can charge more for their applications."
Tanjeloff who developed several kinds of applications ranging from language translation to public transportation-saying that he made the application more often sold in iOS than Google Play.
"I believe that it is caused by the shop the App Store a safe and trusted consumer. Moreover, the users are already familiar with the method of payment from the App Store using iTunes for years," he said.
Apple's high quality standards are also called Tanjeloff managed to convince consumers that the applications sold in the App Store is safe and not infiltrated spy programs or malware. "On the contrary, in the Android app store there is no guarantee of quality or safety. Then there are a lot of scams and applications that are not good quality."
Not suitable for all
Even so, the developers found that the mechanism implemented in Apple's App Store is less suited for some types of applications, one of which can be obtained free freemium but have paid extra content.
Joe Burger is an employee management application developers Labor Sync. The trial version of the freemium app can be used for free, but users have to pay to be able to use its full functionality. On Android, it was not a problem, but Apple apparently objected to the model applied Burger.
"We refused because of our web site address listed in the application, where we run a free trial mode that application," he said. "We also want to create our own payment mechanism with dynamic prices, but Apple apparently does not agree."
In order for the application to enter the App Store, Burger required to remove things related to her web site from within the application. He is also required to apply the purchase method of content in applications from Apple that had added a number of programming code again.
"With Android, we would complete the sale. Users buy our app, try the trial version, and then sign-up and pay a subscription fee. Was not happening in the App Strore," said Burger.
Another thing is the scourge of developers who sell apps in the App Store update is a procedure that takes a long time. Monica Martino and Greg Smith of Privus Mobile said that applying the update for Android applications easier and faster than with an update on the iOS app.
"On iOS, it takes three months to do the update. Then it took another month so that updates can be checked by Apple, that is, if not rejected then," complained Martino. "When the update finally get out on the App Store, the same term can be used to update an Android app three times."
The strict quality control applications that can be applied to Apple's push application developers sorts Martino and Smith to move to Google Play. In October 2012, the Android application store revenue is up 17.9 percent compared with the previous month, while iOS apps revenue fell 0.7 percent in the same period.
Android Market is still far behind the App Store about the amount of revenue generated applications in it. However, if Apple does not loosen policy of quality control in the App Store, could rival the Android app store that can keep pace
